1. Who runs the service
FrozenBuddy (frozenbuddy.com) is operated by Kamagio s.r.o., Company ID: 23515309, Jaromíra Matuška 20/8, Dubina, 700 30 Ostrava, Czech Republic, e-mail: privacy@frozenbuddy.com (the "operator"). These terms govern the use of the app and form an agreement between you and the operator.
2. What FrozenBuddy is
FrozenBuddy is an app for learning to speak English: lessons, exercises, listening practice and spoken conversations with characters played by artificial intelligence (AI). The characters are not real people and their voices are synthetic.
The content and the AI replies are for language practice only. They are not legal, medical, immigration, financial or other professional advice, even when a lesson simulates an office, a doctor or an insurer.
3. Account
You may use the app from the age of 15. Younger learners may only learn through a parent's or guardian's account and under their supervision. Children under 13 may not create an account.
You provide true information and keep your password safe. The operator may approve or refuse a registration and suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or misuses the service.
You can sign in with e-mail and password or with your Google account. With Google sign-in we receive only your name, e-mail address and Google account identifier.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not use the AI for anything unlawful, offensive or harmful, and do not enter sensitive data (ID numbers, card numbers, passwords, health details) into conversations.
- Do not try to bypass, overload or scrape the app or access other accounts.
- The app content (lessons, texts, illustrations, PDF sheets, audio) is protected by copyright. You may print and use the sheets and the textbook for your own learning, not redistribute or sell them.
5. Price and changes
The app is currently free of charge and without advertising. The operator may change, add or discontinue features; material changes of these terms are announced in advance in the app or by e-mail and require your consent again.
6. Liability
The service is provided "as is". The operator does its best to keep the content correct and the app available, but does not guarantee error-free or uninterrupted operation or that AI replies are always correct. Liability is limited to the extent permitted by law; your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
7. Termination
You can delete your account at any time in your Profile (your recordings are deleted too) or by writing to the operator. Before that you can download all your data (Profile → Account → Export).
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence (including the USA).
