FrozenBuddy — break the ice in English

FrozenBuddy is an app for learning to speak English out loud. You talk with AI characters in everyday situations you meet in the USA — immigration at the airport, a hotel front desk, a job interview, a doctor's office, a landlord — and get feedback on what to say better.

What you can do

• Choose a journey: a vacation in the USA, moving to the USA, or just getting more confident speaking.
• Follow a story on a map: every lesson has phrases with audio, a short grammar note, exercises, real-life listening and a spoken conversation with an AI character.
• Practise with characters with different accents (US regions, British, Indian, Mexican, Nigerian and more), with background noise and on the phone.
• Use Rescue phrases offline when you get stuck, and hear your progress in a check-in conversation every two weeks.
• Receive a printable PDF sheet after each lesson and build your own textbook.

Your data

You can create an account with e-mail or sign in with Google. With Google sign-in we only receive your name, e-mail address and Google account ID to create your account and sign you in — nothing else, and we never sell or share it. Details in the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use.
